How are we different to childcare?

Each Kindy group has the same children that attend each day. This consistency enables children to settle and form friendships quickly.
Teachers base their learning program on the children’s interests and having the same children attend each day allows for a more consistent learning environment.
Our learning environment and resources are specific for children the year before they start school.
The children feel a greater sense of belonging as they are not sharing their room throughout the day.

Families feel a sense of belonging as the children are attending the same hours which allows for families to interact on arrival and departure.
We are a not for profit Kindy operated by our parent committee, which also fosters a greater sense of community.
Our staff have a long association with our Kindy as opposed to a high staff turn over in childcare.
Our teaching staff all hold university qualifications and are registered with the Queensland College of Teachers.
Our assistants all have a Certificate lll in Early Childhood.
