In Loving Memory of Rebecca Sutherland It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our much loved Director and Teacher, Rebecca Sutherland. Rebecca was a valued part of our kindy community for many years and was passionate about Early Childhood education. She had a special way of connecting with children and families, and her warmth, kindness, and beautiful smile made everyone feel welcome and cared for. Rebecca touched the lives of so many children, helping them learn, grow, and build confidence during their early years. Her dedication, gentle nature, and genuine love for teaching will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Our thoughts are with Rebecca's family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered as a cherished member of our kindy family.

Today we celebrated the end of term for the Lilly Pilly and Banksia Groups with Pyjama Day and a Teddy Bear’s Picnic. We read lots of books and had a picnic with our friends and teddies in the sunshine! We were proud to raise money towards a charity close to our hearts, The Pyjama Foundation. The Pyjama Foundation provides mentoring programs for children in foster care. Well done to our amazing families for their support. 🐻🌸☀️🌈❤️ @thepyjamafoundation

We were very lucky to have a visit from Brodie and ‘Blocka’ the wet wipe monster from Urban Utilities. We have been learning about how to care for our waterways and drains. To all of our past and present families who have been instrumental in fundraising for this project, thank you so much. We feel very fortunate. Thank to Jemma Cullen (committee president) and our 2024 parent committee for your hard work in getting this project across the line. Thank you also to Gemma Faint for liaising with the many parties involved. We all feel very lucky and grateful to have such an amazing playground.

Thank you to everyone for making our Open Day which celebrated our 75th year such a huge success….. Our fantastic committee for organising our raffle and bake sale. All of the very generous donors to our raffle. Our wonderful families who bought and sold raffle tickets and for baking all of the amazing treats. Our hard working staff and of the course the children who prepared our beautiful Kindy so well. Thank you also to Councillor Jared Cassidy for calling in to show his continued support for our Kindy. We loved welcoming back past families and staff as well as showing future families how wonderful our Kindy is. It was wonderful to see past students reconnect with their teachers and also with each other. We are very grateful and fortunate to have such a wonderful Kindy and be part of such an amazing community.
