I HAVE been working in the early childhood industry for more than 18 years. I have been with Geebung Kindergarten and Preschool for the past 15 years of my career.
I have a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education, which I obtained whilst my own children were still in school.
Helping at my children’s school led me to my learnings in Early Childhood. In the beginning it was a way of me being able to work and be at home when my children were home from school. Little did I know that 18 years along I would be still contributing to the learning and development of children in our local community.

I am proud of the role I have in helping make confident, independent and happy children, leading into Prep. I hope to continue to do this for many years to come.
Geebung Kindergarten and Preschool is a great place to work as I feel part of a family. This is due to the working environment, leadership of our Director and the people I work with. We all work well as a team, which is evident in the way our centre comes together to create a warm and welcoming environment.
