I HAVE been a teacher at Geebung Kindy since 2013. The teacher I took over from retired for health reasons and had been at the kindy for 19 years, which is a testament to how wonderful it is to work here.
I have a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and have more than 15 years of teaching experience. I have taught various age groups in NSW, the UK and Queensland, however I find teaching Kindy-age children the most exciting and rewarding.

Everyday is different, as our program is determined by the children’s interests, needs and individual abilities. I knew from a very young age I wanted to be a Kindy teacher and I feel honoured to be working with such a fantastic team here at Geebung.
The Kindy year is such a special year for children and their families and it’s a privilege to play an important part in the start of their educational journey.
