MY experience at Geebung Kindy originally started in 1998 as the mother of an excited 4-year-old on her first day of Kindy.
As a parent I took on the committee role of Treasurer, and very much enjoyed being able to do my part during my child’s time at the Kindy.
In 1999 I was offered the role of Financial Administrator, and haven’t looked back since.
In 2000, I returned to the Kindy in the role of a mother with my youngest child, and with the utmost confidence in the teachers and the quality of teaching she would receive.
Seventeen years later and I am still enjoying what I do, and being able to play a part in making every parent of an excited four-year-old’s experience as positive as it can be.
Being able to work beside the supportive and passionate staff, committees and families every year, is such a large part of what makes this centre so great, and such a joy to work at.
